The Hidden Stone House was designed in 2020 by A1 Arquitectura Avanzada with the intention of integrating the structure with its surrounding landscape. The client requested a design that would take advantage of the sloped terrain, harmoniously relate to the existing natural environment, and offer stunning sunset views of the nearby city. The result is an architectural masterpiece that combines modern luxury with sustainability.
A1 Arquitectura Avanzada’s approach centers on biomimetic and symbiotic architecture, which draws inspiration from natural processes without replicating them. The Hidden Stone House is positioned strategically among endemic trees, creating a harmonious space where nature and architecture coexist. The project’s symbiotic strategy enhances both elements, resulting in a tranquil, eco-friendly environment for its residents.
The villa also incorporates Material Sensitivity, using textures, colors, and materials to heighten sensory experiences, allowing inhabitants to connect with the space on a deeper level. Sustainable features such as thermal inertia, natural ventilation, and gray water recycling ensure the home remains energy-efficient while minimizing environmental impact.
